Job Description
As a Lead Engineer you will be responsible for driving technical projects, managing resources effectivity, balancing team workloads. You will design solutions, oversee testing, and mentor junior engineers to ensure productivity and skill development. Also you will manage resources, troubleshoot, debug issues, writing and reviewing test cases to ensure code quality and collaborate with cross functional team to deliver high-quality product on time.
Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of software development methodology, build tools, and product life cycle.
- Build a converged core cloud‑native solution with end‑to‑end understanding of 5G and EPC Network Functions (AMF, MME, SMF, SGW, PGW, UPF, PCF) and protocols.
- Exposure to customer deployment models and configuration of large mobile packet core solutions.
- Hands‑on experience in scale & resiliency validation and performance benchmarking for Packet Core products.
- Hands‑on experience in creating customer call models using traffic generators (e.g., Spirent Landslide).
- Good knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud‑native solutions.
- Experience in bringing up OpenShift and native Kubernetes‑based clusters.
- Exposure to automation frameworks like pyATS and Robot Framework.
- Strong background in automation with Python and Shell scripting.
Mandatory Skills
- Solid experience in 5G Core end‑to‑end validation.
- Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift.
- Working exposure on AMF, MME, SGW, PGW, SMF, UPF.
- Experience in field deployments and debugging field issues.
- Python, Shell scripting, Robot Framework.
Qualifications
Experience: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
Education: B.Tech/BE or any other equivalent degree, PG in communication field

About The Team
Tejas Networks provides scalable and innovative 4G/5G solutions. Our portfolio encompasses Radio Access Network solutions including Remote Radio Heads (RRHs) or Radio Units (RUs), Massive MIMO Radios (Advanced Antenna Systems, AAS) and Base Band Units (BBUs), Distributed Units (DUs) and Centralized Units (CUs), Mobile Packet Core and an Advanced Network management solution.
