Main Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining Subsea Control Systems for the KGD6 offshore field across Subsea, OT, CRP, MJ FPSO, and Shore Base facilities, ensuring reliable, safe, and uninterrupted operations.
Job Accountabilities:
- Maintain Subsea Control Systems across R Cluster, Satellite/OSAT, and the MJ FPSO, including topside systems and interfaces.
- Lead the control engineering team and support maintenance activities to ensure smooth functioning of subsea control systems.
- Ensure safe and timely completion of routine and breakdown maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore control engineers to maintain seamless operations.
- Support OSS Base for SRT of SCMs, control systems, and associated tooling.
- Provide day-to-day operational support on control system performance.
- Prepare and review intervention procedures and work instructions in coordination with intervention engineers.
- Visit intervention vessels for control-system-related execution activities.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure high system reliability.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for system abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
- Initiate and execute Management of Change (MOC) processes for reliability improvements.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Review and update SOPs and SMPs periodically.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Assessments, and Lessons Learned reviews.
- Coordinate with logistics for resource planning for intervention activities.
- Review Bill of Materials (BOM), assess spare requirements, and ensure availability.
- Raise purchase requisitions, prepare technical recommendations, and follow up with procurement to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide inputs for annual budget preparation.
- Manage handover and takeover activities for new projects.
- Support project teams in Brownfield project engineering and technical document reviews.
- Ensure zero unsafe incidents during job execution.
- Implement Operating Management System (OMS) principles and guidelines.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of subsea control systems.
- Understanding of subsea production systems and offshore operations.
- Knowledge of reservoir and well performance.
- Familiarity with international Oil & Gas standards.
- Experience in troubleshooting, commissioning, and start-up of subsea control systems.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years in subsea or Deepwater maintenance.
