Primary Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing drawing review per Evacuation Systems standards.
- Experience in drawing and model checking (ASME), Tolerance Stack-up analysis,
- Experience on CI - Lean and/or 6 sigma / Root Cause Analysis (preferred)
- Participate in Engineering Change Management Process
- Should have knowledge in GDT (ASME 14.5)
- Working knowledge on CAD application - CREO 2.0 or above
- Proficiency in CAD softwares (2D) - AutoCAD, keycreator and other CAD (3D) - Catia, Unigraphics is desired
- Work experience on PLM tool -Teamcenter, SAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft office - Word, Excel, and Presentation
- Communicates with business units in USA (effective written and verbal communication is required for the purpose of achieving successful job performance)
- Working with BLR Operations team and US customers
- Team Player and Interpersonal skill to work with cross functional team
- Attention to details to ensure high quality work to customers
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of Industry experience with experience in New Product Development, Redesign CAD Activities
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Design
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Professional (GDTP) certified from ASME
- Certification in Continuous Improvement - Lean / 6 sigma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Mechanical Design
- Minimum 5 year experience - Manufacturing drawing creation and review
- Knowledge on machine design, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Sound Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals
