Job Summary
Caterpillar is seeking a Lead Software Engineer D365 CE to drive technical delivery, architecture, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions. This role combines handson engineering, solution architecture, and team leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and integrated enterprise CRM solutions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Field Service.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Lead endtoend design and development of Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
- Architect scalable, secure CE integrations with D365 F&O, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Oversee customizations, plugins, workflows, and UI development.
Development & Integration
- Build REST/SOAP services, custom UI (React/Angular), and mobile app components.
- Implement integrations using OData, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory, and Dual Write.
- Guide data migration using DMF and ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization.
DevOps & Governance
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, branches, and deployments via Azure DevOps and PPAC.
- Maintain coding standards, environment strategy, and technical governance.
Leadership & Communication
- Mentor engineers, lead workshops, and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Drive reusable frameworks, automation, and AI/CoPilotbased enhancements.
Required Experience
- 1215+ years in ERP technologies, with 10+ years in D365 CE.
- Technical Lead/Solution Architect experience across 8+ fullcycle CE implementations.
- Deep expertise in CE development, Azure services, integrations, and Power Platform.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and frontend frameworks.

- MB210 / MB220 / MB230 / MB240
- Experience with Power Pages and AIbased Copilot solutions
