Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications, data integrations, and technology solutions using Apache Camel, Spring Boot, Spring, Web Services, and Java.
• Drive project and technology goals aligned with organizational objectives.
• Create design and technical specifications for development projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to developers, including leading code reviews.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Program Architects, Developers, and Quality Analysts to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Cloud & Integration Technologies:

• Experience with Cloud Native Technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in application integration solutions development in a Cloud Native Environment using Java.

Programming & Frameworks:

• Proficiency in Java-J2EE and Apache technologies, including:
• Apache Camel, Spring, Spring Batch, Kafka, and Web Services.
• Experience in Data Mapping, XML/SOAP/JSON, and integration with Oracle and SQL Server databases using JDBC and JPA.

System & Database Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management theory.

Development & Collaboration:

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Application development experience in Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
