Perform design, review, and detailed engineering of high voltage (HV) systems including transmission lines, distribution networks, and offshore/onshore substations
Design and review HV power lines, HV cables, and substation systems (AIS/GIS) across voltage levels from 33kV to 765kV
Calculate induced voltages due to nearby HV lines and cables, including electromagnetic effects
Perform analysis of inductive and capacitive coupling in power systems
Develop earthing and bonding system designs, including step and touch voltage calculations
Analyze fault conditions in high voltage transmission networks and ensure system stability and safety
Prepare and review technical specifications, design calculations, drawings, and bills of materials for HV systems
Conduct magnetic field and electromagnetic calculations using tools such as COMSOL, CDEGS, PSCAD, and EMTP
Perform insulation coordination, lightning protection, and grounding system design
Support HVAC and HVDC transmission line design and studies
Coordinate with vendors, transmission system operators, contractors, and substation owners for project execution
Manage and follow up on engineering packages, including tender documentation and CTR preparation
Handle multidisciplinary projects and provide technical guidance to designers and draftsmen
Participate in site inspections, supplier tests, and construction-phase technical support
Ensure quality assurance compliance and maintain project documentation standards
Utilize project management tools to track cost, schedule, and project progress
