The Collateral Management Platform (CMP) team is seeking a Lead Developer to support critical collateral business initiatives. This role requires a self‑motivated individual who can rapidly build business and platform knowledge, work effectively in a complex regulatory environment, and deliver high‑quality, scalable technology solutions supporting mission‑critical collateral processes.

CMP underpins firm‑wide collateral processing across multiple asset classes and regulatory regimes. As a Developer, you will play a key role in modernizing the platform, enabling new business capabilities, ensuring operational resilience, and meeting regulatory and client commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance core CMP applications and services supporting the collateral lifecycle across Repo, OTC, and margin products.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions
  • Build and maintain performant data processing and integration components across upstream and downstream systems
  • Contribute to platform modernization and cloud‑enablement initiatives, following enterprise architecture standards
  • Ensure code quality, reliability, and security through peer reviews, automated testing, and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, QA, operations, and architecture teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
  • Provide Level 3 production support, including:
    • Deep technical investigation of production incidents and data issues
    • Root‑cause analysis and implementation of permanent fixes
    • Supporting live collateral processing with strict SLA and availability requirements
  • Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and post‑release validation
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong hands‑on development experience in Java (or equivalent enterprise language) within financial services
  • Solid SQL skills with experience working on complex, data‑intensive platforms
  • Experience developing and supporting mission‑critical systems in a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD practices, and production support models
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, prioritize effectively, and deliver under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across business and technology stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with Collateral Management platforms, margining, settlements, or reconciliation workflows
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern engineering practices.
