We are looking for a Java Back-end Support Engineer to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide application support by monitoring the application support queue and addressing each issue as per the set protocol. Ensure all emails are answered in a timely manner and follow up on each issue to closure.
- Liaison with the respective project leaders of the systems to create and maintain knowledge base documents for the applications. Ensure the latest versions are always accessible to the users.
- Continually identify ways to improve support and decrease avoidable support tickets. Identify improvements to applications, processes, and business logic to meet user needs and communicate to the team lead.
- Read through code and logs to reason and understand its intent. Analyze configurations, application and system log files to determine the cause of the issues
- Work independently with clients and should possess excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Perform data and log analysis in order to troubleshoot errors and user questions. Work with the development/engineering team to analyze the data when necessary and promptly follow up with the user.
- Track issues, bringing them to closure in a timely manner
- Logically work through problems to determine their cause and how they can be resolved.
- Give an accurate daily handover of all business-critical occurrences to peers in other locations across the globe.
- Deliver a high level of customer service to all users and continuous communication.
- Maintain a positive, constructive, team-oriented attitude as well as sound judgment with all job responsibilities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience
- Strong Java experience
- Strong Springboot experience
- Knowledge on Public API, Restful APIs
- Familiarity with Authentication and Authorization
- File Transfer Methods
- SOAP || REST || Remote Procedure Calls || DNS
- Errors - API Call Failure || Error Codes
- Field - URL API Endpoints Incident Management - L1/L2
- Triaging an incident and Prioritization
