UI/UX Designer JD:

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will lead design efforts across multiple products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience. You will take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframing to final visual design and implementation. Your deep understanding of both UI and UX design principles will ensure a strong, user-centered approach to all our digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and design user-centric experiences across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly designs.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions effectively.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback loops to inform design decisions and continuously iterate on designs.
Develop UI component libraries and design systems to maintain consistency and scalability across products.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to the professional development of the design team.
Stay updated on design trends and emerging technologies to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
Work alongside front-end developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Advocate for the user in all aspects of design, ensuring all products meet accessibility and usability standards.
Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure a consistent and engaging brand presence across all user touchpoints.
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a breadth of work across UI and UX design, showcasing both process and final deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, visual design).
Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and/or other relevant tools.
In-depth understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and accessibility standards.
Extensive experience with user research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics.
Strong understanding of responsive design and best practices for designing across multiple devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).
Experience with design systems and creating scalable design solutions.
Ability to mentor and collaborate with other designers and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate design decisions and collaborate with stakeholders.
Experience with Agile development processes is beneficial.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a leadership role, guiding design strategy and decision-making.
A background in front-end development or understanding of coding is a bonus.
Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies like Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Agile UX.
