We are looking for a Databricks Lead to drive data platform strategy, architecture, and delivery excellence.
This role requires strong technical leadership, client-facing capability, and ownership of large-scale implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise data strategy and Lakehouse architecture roadmap.
- Architect large-scale data platforms on Databricks across cloud environments.
- Lead end-to-end implementation and modernization programs.
- Establish best practices for data engineering, DevOps, and governance.
- Oversee performance optimization, cost management, and scalability.
- Drive data security, compliance, and governance initiatives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and provide technical advisory.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of data engineers.
- Support pre-sales activities including solutioning and effort estimation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics platforms.
- Proven experience architecting Databricks-based solutions at scale.
- Deep understanding of Spark internals and performance engineering.
- Strong at-least one cloud hands-on experience (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Experience implementing governance frameworks (Unity Catalog, data lineage, metadata management).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing project delivery.
Good To Have
- Experience in multi-cloud data architecture.
- Knowledge of ML engineering and MLOps in Databricks.
- Databricks Certified Professional or Architect certification.
