The job holder is resposnsible to ensure that data within the lakehouse is managed effectively, securely, and in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This role is essential for establishing and maintaining data quality, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting the strategic goals of the organization. The Data Governance Professional will develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and practices that ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of data assets
The job holder is also a key member of the broader data management group across the organization and is expected to play an important role in influencing and providing direction to the wider data management community.
Minimum Experience
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role, preferably with experience in data lakehouse environments.
Knowledge And Skills
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and frameworks.
- Experience with data security, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
