Role Overview
To lead and drive fundraising, corporate partnerships, and revenue growth for Donatekart Foundation by building strategic CSR collaborations. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate partners, expanding existing partnerships, and positioning the organization as a preferred CSR implementation partner, while ensuring high-impact and scalable social initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising & Revenue Growth (Primary Focus)
- Drive CSR fundraising strategy to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new corporate partners for CSR collaborations.
- Build a strong pipeline of leads across industries and convert them into long-term partnerships.
- Develop customized CSR proposals aligned with corporate priorities and ESG goals.
- Expand existing partnerships through repeat engagements, multi-year projects, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Corporate Partnerships & Account Management
- Act as the primary relationship owner for key corporate accounts.
- Build and nurture CXO-level and CSR stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure high partner satisfaction, retention, and long-term engagement.
- Represent Donatekart Foundation in meetings, pitches, and industry forums.
- Strategic Positioning & Business Development
- Position Donatekart Foundation as a trusted CSR and social impact partner.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaboration models.
- Track industry trends, CSR mandates, and ESG priorities to align offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design compelling solutions for partners.
- Proposal Development & Deal Closure
- Lead end-to-end proposal creation: concept notes, budgets, pitch decks, and presentations.
- Work closely with program and operations teams to design feasible and impactful solutions.
- Drive negotiations, MoUs, and closure of partnerships.
- Program Oversight (Secondary)
- Ensure smooth execution of committed projects through internal and NGO partners.
- Monitor quality, timelines, and partner expectations without owning day-to-day operations.
- Step in strategically to resolve escalations and ensure delivery excellence.
- Reporting & Communication
- Oversee partner reporting, impact communication, and storytelling.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables that strengthen credibility and retention.
- Team Leadership & Growth
- Lead and mentor the partnerships/fundraising team.
- Set targets, track performance, and build a high-performing business development function.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- 7-9+ years of experience in CSR fundraising, business development, or partnerships
- Proven track record of closing high-value corporate deals and meeting revenue targets
- Strong network within CSR/corporate ecosystem is a plus
- Excellent pitching, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and ownership mindset
