Job Description

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Provide strategic legal counsel to senior management and other departments.
Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with the company's operations.
Oversee litigation matters and coordinate with external legal counsel as necessary.
Monitor regulatory developments in the Technology & Telecoms sector and advise on their impact.
Develop and implement legal processes and policies to ensure operational efficiency.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Counsel should have:

A degree in law from a recognized institution and eligibility to practice in India.
Proven experience in handling legal matters within the Technology & Telecoms industry, particularly in the Software sector.
Strong knowledge of commercial law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
Experience in managing and leading legal teams is a plus.
