Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, SSRS
Responsibilities
.Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports, dashboards, and data‑driven subscriptions.
.Work closely with business teams to gather reporting requirements and convert them into high‑quality reports.
.Build complex T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs.
.Optimize report performance, ensure data accuracy, and implement best practices for report design.
.Troubleshoot issues related to data, performance, and rendering across SSRS environments.
.Collaborate with database developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.
.Maintain and enhance existing reports, migrate reports across environments, and support deployment activities.
.Create and maintain documentation, including report catalogs, data flow diagrams, and specifications.
.Optionally support ETL workflows in SSIS and multidimensional/tabular models in SSAS .
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
.Strong hands‑on experience in SSRS report development, including parameterized reports, drill‑through, drill‑down, and matrix reports.
.Expertise in SQL Server and writing optimized SQL queries.
.Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and reporting best practices.
.Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical reporting solutions.
.Ability to troubleshoot data/report issues quickly and efficiently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Experience with SSIS for ETL workflows.
.Exposure to SSAS (Tabular or Multidimensional models).
.Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD processes for report deployment.
.Understanding of data governance and audit requirements.
.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
