Remote Eligible: Yes — Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai considered for strong profiles

Travel: Field sales as required; primarily office-based at Gurugram HO

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Lead Consultant, you are the deal engine and trusted advisor of Virtuos's Smartsheet practice. You own the complete enterprise sales cycle — from first discovery call through signed order — and you bring the solution architecture depth to design multi-team, multi-workflow, multi-integration Smartsheet programmes that genuinely transform how organisations operate.

You understand that Smartsheet is not just a spreadsheet replacement — it is an enterprise Work Intelligence platform capable of running project portfolios, resource capacity planning, dynamic reporting dashboards, AI-powered automation, and cross-functional operational programmes at scale. You can articulate this to a CFO, architect it for an IT Director, and demonstrate it compellingly to an operations team.

You will also play a key role in bringing VSheet — Virtuos's industry-powered Smartsheet solution — to enterprise clients, understanding their vertical-specific workflows and positioning VSheet as a faster, smarter path to work transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and manage an assigned territory and account set: prospecting, pipeline development, opportunity progression, and closure.
  • Lead structured discovery workshops with client stakeholders to map workflow challenges, project management pain points, and operational inefficiencies to Smartsheet capabilities.
  • Architect tailored Smartsheet solutions: sheet design, automated workflows, cross-sheet formula logic, dynamic reports, dashboards, resource management, and WorkApps.
  • Design and deliver VSheet industry solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations for target verticals.
  • Build comprehensive commercial proposals: solution configuration, professional services scoping, pricing, and executive ROI models.
  • Lead and contribute to RFP/RFI responses; own the technical and commercial narrative.
  • Manage complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving IT, procurement, operations, and HR teams.
  • Identify integration opportunities: Smartsheet + Salesforce, Smartsheet + Microsoft 365, Smartsheet + DocuSign, Smartsheet + Agiloft — and position these as differentiated value.
  • Manage account expansion: identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing deployments.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams on scope, kickoff, and implementation handover.
  • Mentor Sales & Pre-Sales Consultants and Associates on solution design and deal management.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

  • 5–8 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, pre-sales solution consulting, or work management platform advisory.
  • Strong practical Smartsheet expertise: sheets, reports, dashboards, automations, WorkApps, resource management, and Admin Center.
  • Demonstrated track record managing enterprise sales cycles with deal sizes above INR 25 lakhs.
  • Ability to design and present multi-layered Smartsheet architectures for enterprise-scale deployments.
  • Experience building ROI models and executive business cases for SaaS platform investments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional in both written proposals and live client settings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, or complementary SaaS platforms.
  • B.Tech / B.E. preferred; Graduate with MBA/PGDM.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

  • Smartsheet Certified User (SCU) or Smartsheet Certified Professional (SCP).
  • Experience with VSheet or Smartsheet industry template solutions.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet Bridge (workflow automation), Control Center (portfolio scaling), or Data Shuttle.
  • Prior experience in a Smartsheet partner/reseller environment.
  • Vertical domain knowledge: manufacturing, pharma, real estate, IT/ITES, or BFSI.
