Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant QA Automation Engineer (AI-Driven Testing | Playwright & Cypress)!This role we are We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in AI-enabled test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for functional, feature, API, front-end, and regression testing using modern tools such as Playwright and Cypress. The role requires close collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software releases.

Responsibilities

.Test Automation Development
oDesign, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright for:
.Functional testing
.Feature testing
.API testing
oDevelop and maintain front-end automation tests using Cypress
oImplement AI-assisted testing approaches to improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency
.Regression Testing
oBuild and maintain automated regression test suites
oEnsure regression tests are executed as part of CI/CD pipelines
oAnalyze regression failures and work closely with developers to identify root causes

.API & Backend Testing
oAutomate REST API testing using Playwright or similar frameworks
oValidate API responses, schema, performance, and error handling
oPerform data validation and backend testing as part of end-to-end scenarios
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Proficiency in Playwright & Cypress
.Experience with AI-powered testing tools or test optimization techniques
.Strong experience with robot framework using Selenium, Database, Request and SSH library.
.Experience with continuous integration and relevant tools,which include Bitbucket, Github, Bamboo, Jira and Intellij etc.
.Experience designing and implementing automated testing robot frameworks (e.g.Data Driven Framework , Keyword Driven Framework , Modular Framework and Page Object Model)
.Experience creating automated test frameworks, test plans, test scenarios, and develop repeatable application testing.
.An understanding of software testing principles and able to drive test automation for different technology stacks.
.Experience in writing automation tests (e.g., Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UI Testing)
.Experience in building automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
.Selenium, Java, experience developing API.
.Browser-based test automation
.Strong problem-solving skills.
.Experience with either Python or Java.
.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
.Excellent communication and collaboration skills
.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
.Attention to detail and a strong quality mindsetPreferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Experience in both IT and business sectors
.Performance or load testing exposure
.Experience with cloud-based test execution environments
.Knowledge of Docker or containerized test environments
.Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
