In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend components that power critical business applications. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build efficient, scalable solutions while ensuring seamless system integration and high-quality performance.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable code Python codes to make business decisions.

• Understand business lifecycle and business needs to understand what type of code is best suitable for the business.

• Debug and troubleshoot applications to ensure fast and high-quality operations.

• Collaborate with front end developers to make sure that the entire module is seamless and can talk to each other.

• Collaborate with front end developers to implement strategic business initiatives.

• Maintain data dashboards to present to key stakeholders during monthly review meetings.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Track record with Python engineering the back end of web applications

• Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns

• Ability to build efficient API using Python frameworks

• Knowledgeable in SQL using PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. Experienced in Python Pandas library

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, using tools like Git, Jira, Bamboo and Confluence.

• Comfortable developing in both Windows and Linux environments

• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Docker

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience in both IT and business sectors

• Experience in Agile/ Scrum methodologies

• Certification in relevant technologies such as AWS
