Inviting applications for the role of MuleSoft & Salesforce Integration Tester (QA)

The MuleSoft & Salesforce Integration Tester is responsible for validating end-to-end integrations between MuleSoft APIs and Salesforce platforms. This role ensures data accuracy, system reliability, performance, and security across integrated enterprise applications. The tester works closely with developers, architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality integration solutions.

In this role you will be performing the following.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Testing

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for MuleSoft APIs integrated with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)
  • Validate end-to-end data flow between Salesforce and downstream/upstream systems via MuleSoft
  • Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing for APIs and Salesforce integrations

API & Data Validation

  • Test REST/SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, or REST clients
  • Validate API request/response structures, headers, payloads, and error handling
  • Verify data mapping, transformation, and synchronization between MuleSoft and Salesforce objects
  • Perform Salesforce object-level validation, including custom objects, workflows, and triggers

Automation & Performance Testing

  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts for API and integration testing where applicable
  • Execute performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and stability
  • Identify bottlenecks and integration performance issues

Salesforce Testing

  • Validate Salesforce configurations such as:
    • Objects, fields, validation rules
    • Flows, Process Builder, Apex triggers
    • User roles, profiles, and permissions
  • Perform UAT support and defect triage for Salesforce integration releases

Defect Management & Collaboration

  • Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with MuleSoft developers, Salesforce admins, and architects to resolve defects
  • Participate in Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release validation

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain:
    • Test plans, test cases, and test execution reports
    • API test coverage documentation
  • Ensure integrations comply with security, data protection, and compliance standards

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
  • Hands-on testing experience with Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud)
  • Solid understanding of API testing (REST & SOAP)
  • Experience with tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, JMeter
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, RAML, and Data Weave basics
  • Understanding of Salesforce data model and SOQL

Testing Skills

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC
  • Experience in manual and automated integration testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test execution in DevOps environments

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Salesforce Administrator or MuleSoft certifications
  • Experience with automation frameworks (RestAssured, Karate, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps
