In this role, you will work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

Responsibilities

• Design client-side and server-side architecture

• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Write effective APIs

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• Create security and data protection settings

• Build features and applications with a responsive design

• Write technical documentation

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

• Graduate/ Postgraduate

• Proven experience as a Java developer or similar role

• Experience developing Web applications

• Familiarity with common stacks

• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate)

• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JbossWildfly) and UI/UX design

• Hands-on experience building microservices

• Exposure to cloud and containerization (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot JPA/Hibernate)

• Good to have JavaScript libraries (Angular or Reactjs), AJAX and View Technology JSP/JSF

• Relevant years of experience in development
