Job Description

Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements related to EDI and OTC processes.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for implementation.

Solution Design & Configuration

  • Design, configure, and customize SAP solutions in the OTC and EDI modules.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance existing OTC and EDI processes.
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions for improved operational efficiency.

Testing & Implementation

  • Conduct system and integration testing for EDI and OTC solutions.
  • Support end-to-end testing activities to ensure successful deployment.

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide ongoing support for SAP OTC and EDI modules, addressing user requests and system issues.
  • Troubleshoot EDI-related errors including IDoc failures and partner profile inconsistencies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and functional teams to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
  • Participate actively in project planning and execution to meet defined timelines.

Continuous Learning & Development

  • Stay current with SAP OTC and EDI advancements, tools, and best practices.
  • Leverage new technologies and methodologies to optimize processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as an EDI Consultant, with a primary focus on OTC processes.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
  • Proven expertise in EDI integration, including IDocs, partner profiles, and EDI mapping.
  • In-depth understanding of OTC processes: sales order management, pricing, delivery, billing.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • SAP SD or EDI certifications are a plus.
