Job Purpose
Compliance testing Perform Compliance testing of various products and processes. Determine scope & testing methodology in line with the Compliance testing plan, perform testing, discuss & obtain responses with action plan and present the results to Senior Management.
Duties And Responsibilities
Data analytics- Compliance Monitoring and Testing
Compliance Function plays a central role in identifying the level of Compliance risk in the organization. The compliance function comprises of Regulatory correspondence team, Advisory team and Compliance Monitoring & Testing (CMT) team. The incumbent will be part of data analysis team under CMT team to build the data analysis capabilities within compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of analysts by providing guidance on data tools, analytical methodologies, and problem solving approaches.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory expectations.
- Implement SQL scripts, dashboards, and automated processes, including version control and change management practices.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead automation initiatives using advanced tools (Python, Power BI automation, SQL enhancements, AI/ML where applicable).
- Ensure timely delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting requirements from the team.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with compliance team and other stakeholders to design and implement standard reports, exception reports/SQLs etc that support compliance team for planning, execution, and reporting.
- Develop Compliance dashboards, to support both periodic testing and continuous monitoring.
- Communicating data structure with compliance team to help them plan their data requirements
- Build analytical capabilities across the Compliance team, including training on tools, data literacy, and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications And Experience
Education and work experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Key skills
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
- Proficiency with Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of business KPIs and metrics.
