The Lead ESE Enablement and Communication Strategist is responsible for creating practical, employee-focused enablement and communication assets that support Enterprise Solutions & Experience (ESE).
This role helps ensure UKG emploees have the information, tools, and guidance they need to understand and adopt ESE technologies, processes, policies, and standards. This primary focus of this role is delivering clear, timely, and usable content across the organization.
Partnering with ESE Strategy & Transformation, CIO stakeholders, and program teams, this role supports enablement efforts across ESE by developing high-quality content including emails, presentations, SharePoint type sites, videos and knowledge resources that reinforce readiness, understanding, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Enablement & Communications Content Development
- Create and maintain enablement and communication assets that help employees understand and adopt ESE solutions, processes, and standards.
- Develop clear, concise internal communicationssuch as emails, presentations, and intranet/SharePoint contentthat support enablement objectives.
- Develop practical, easy-to-use resources such as job aids, FAQs, quick reference guides, training materials, and knowledge articles.
- Partner with program and product teams to understand initiative goals and translate them into employee-ready enablement content.
- Ensure enablement materials are role-based, clear, and aligned to how employees actually work.
- Support enablement needs across all ESE initiatives, from large enterprise programs to smaller enhancements and updates.
- Assist in executing communication plans for ESE initiatives, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and audience-appropriate.
- Apply established messaging, branding, and channel standards when creating content.
- Help simplify complex or technical topics into understandable, actionable content for employees.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with ESE Strategy & Transformation, CIO partners, and cross-functional teams to support coordinated enablement and communications.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and employees to improve content clarity and usefulness.
- Track basic engagement and usage metrics (e.g., content views, training participation) to inform improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in enablement, internal communications, learning support, or a related role..
- Hands-on, proven experience creating employee-facing content for large-scale enterprise initiatives, particularly technology or organizational programs, such as emails, PowerPoint presentations, and intranet pages..
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, in English, with a strong ability to distill complex information.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with diverse stakeholders.
