About the Role

This role – Lead- Ethics, Business Conduct & Investigations for India will be responsible for managing and governing the Speak Up platform across Sodexo India. This role ensures timely registration, assignment, governance, and closure of employee concerns raised through the Speak Up channel, while maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and adherence to organizational timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management:

  • Process custodian of Speak Up process for Sodexo India.
  • Register concerns received via all channels (Email/Speak up portal /CEODESK) on company portal.
  • Assign cases based on the nature of concern (HR or Internal Controls).
  • Directly lead certain investigations in area of human concerns or code of conduct violations or integrity breaches in close coordination with Internal Control team.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure strict governance of Speak Up cases with no case exceeding the defined turnaround time (TAT).
  • Preparing detailed report on audit findings, control weakness and corrective action plans for management review within country or region.
  • Ensure timely follow-up of open action plans through governance mechanism calls with operations team.
  • Responsible for education of all country teams (HR, Finance etc) on Sodexo Speak up Process
  • Understand, educate and resolve queries raised by Sodexo employees.
  • Have a clear understanding of company level controls and process level controls and conduct management testing around the controls as per schedule.

Committee Support:

  • Responsible for fortnightly Speak up Committee reviews and escalate delays to the Speak Up Committee.
  • Prepare Speak up dashboard & case summary for Speak Up Committee meetings.
  • Present case updates and progress reports to the Committee.
  • Document Minutes of Meeting (MoM) for each Speak Up Committee meeting.
  • Share MoM with Regional HRs and respective SPOCs for execution of agreed actions.

Follow-up & Closure:

  • Track implementation of employee-related actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of cases on the portal after resolution.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR/ IR processes, employee relations, and grievance handling.
  • Excellent analytical , communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure adherence to TAT.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Experience with HR systems and case management tools (e.g., CEODESK).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 5–8 years of experience/exposure to employee relations and grievance redressal/ investigations procedures under whistleblower guidelines.
  • Prior experience in governance, compliance, or case management preferred.
