We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst - Workday to join our team and drive the configuration, support and optimization of our Workday HCM and Compensation modules.
This role will focus on supporting enterprise operations, strategic projects and system configurations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are met and system integrity is maintained.
Responsibilities
- Define and configure business processes within the Workday instance
- Review and edit notifications based on revised processes or business needs
- Handle role-based security, including role assignments and assessing impacts of organizational changes
- Assist with triaging incoming queries and determine appropriate follow-up actions
- Address security tickets and reorganization requests promptly and efficiently
- Work closely with teams to understand module functionality and capabilities to support business requirements
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc meetings, contributing to project deliverables
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure system changes meet business requirements and resolve system issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system consistency and provide user training and documentation
- Write clear, concise and comprehensive documentation for system processes and changes
- Validate requests against organizational functioning and make appropriate decisions
Requirements
- 10-14 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Expertise in Workday HCM and Compensation modules, including configuration and security
- Knowledge of business analysis, requirement gathering, BRD and FRD
- Skills in stakeholder management and process documentation
- Familiarity with Jira and Atlassian tools
- Background in talent acquisition processes
- Capability to understand, design and manage complex business and technical processes
- Proven resourcefulness in clarifying complex requests through platforms like the Workday community
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work remotely from India with availability during overlapping US East Coast hours
