Your key responsibilities

• Strategic Blueprinting & Solution Design:Lead the design of functional blueprints and requirements, collaborating with Business, Operations, Architecture, and Delivery teams to build innovative, agile, and impactful solutions for payment investigations.
• Driving Process Innovation & Automation:Proactively identify and champion opportunities for process improvements and automation, translating these into precise business requirements and partnering with Product Owners, SMEs, and technical teams for optimal solution identification.
• Agile Delivery & User Story Excellence:Master the agile framework by crafting end-to-end functional flows, defining granular user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and collaborating closely with development teams to prioritize and accelerate delivery within sprint cycles.
• Product Backlog & Sprint Management:Ensure product backlog items meet the Definition of Ready, actively participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning, and work with the Scrum Master to optimize sprint backlogs for efficient development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Clarification:Serve as the primary liaison for requirement clarifications, fostering seamless communication across all team members and actively supporting QA and testing efforts.
• Impactful Solution Advocacy:Support the design and conceptualization of new business solutions, articulating potential impacts and risks, and partnering with Business, Operations, and Product Owners on change request prioritization.
• Value-Driven Development:Outline the clear business value of each requirement, continuously engaging with Engineering and Product Owners to ensure development perfectly aligns with the product vision and delivers maximum impact.
• Data-Driven Insights & NFR Definition:Drive data discovery, sourcing, modeling, and analytics to inform robust data flows and models. Define critical Non-Functional Requirements, including dependencies, interfaces, and input/output specifications.
• Proactive Risk Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout project delivery, ensuring timely escalation and strategic resolution to safeguard project success and business impact.

Your skills and experience

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst, including 5+ years in a leadership role within financial services.
• Proven expertise in large-scale platform transformation and legacy system migration.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, translating complex issues into clear, actionable requirements.
• Superior communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly independent and collaborative, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in core BA tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio) and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Expert analyst with a passion for architectural excellence and a track record of driving end-to-end solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, fostering teamwork in virtual/matrix environments within and outside tribes.
• Commitment to quality and continuous process/software improvement.
• Strong preference for candidates with domain knowledge in Payment Investigations or global payment processing workflows (SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments), or ISO 20022 payment messages.
