About the Role
A senior business analyst role focused on ad monetization analytics, leading strategic initiatives, solving complex business problems, and driving data-backed decisions that impact revenue growth, advertiser performance, and operational efficiency. The Lead Business Analyst will own advanced analytical initiatives across ad products and platforms, translating data into actionable commercial and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Insights:
- Lead analysis of complex ad monetization challenges, yield optimization , and advertiser performance.
- Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to maximize advertising revenue and ROI.
Project Leadership:
- Own and drive ad monetization analytics initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with commercial and organizational goals.
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Commercial, and Tech teams.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze large-scale datasets related to ad performance, user behavior, inventory, and revenue to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a key liaison between business, product, and technical teams, influencing senior stakeholders through insights and storytelling.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and lead improvements to ad monetization processes, reporting, and measurement frameworks.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Develop business cases, dashboards, reports, and define key ad monetization KPIs.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in ad monetization analytics, digital advertising analytics, or marketing monetization (mandatory)
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis, with proven ownership of complex, cross-functional projects
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in BI tools, data visualization, and advanced analytics
- Solid understanding of digital advertising models, performance metrics, and monetization frameworks
- Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including CPM and CPC pricing models, and how major platforms operate (e.g., Google Product Listing Ads (PLA) and Meta advertising) to support optimization of brand ad placements on-platform
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive measurable business impact
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
