We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to drive the analysis and documentation of business requirements for data-related projects.
You will collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery of API and data integration features. Join us to lead impactful projects and enhance data solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough business requirements elicitation, gathering, and documentation
- Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements and technical stories
- Break down epics into INVEST user stories and document acceptance criteria
- Decompose features into end-to-end scenarios and create user journeys and diagrams
- Utilize Agile and SAFe methodologies to maintain the software development lifecycle
- Write clear and detailed technical stories to communicate complex concepts
- Demonstrate working knowledge of API features and data integration
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and developers
- Initiate and lead internal discussions to ensure offshore development team alignment
- Be available during working hours to address developer questions and remove blockers
- Balance stakeholder engagement with internal team needs to ensure clarity and address concerns
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and other teams
- Use AI-assisted tools to increase work efficiency
- Demonstrate flexibility in addressing evolving client needs while aligning with sprint goals
- Facilitate meetings, support client decision-making, and manage conflicts
Requirements
- Extensive experience in business analysis with 10-14 years in the field
- Proven leadership skills in managing complex data projects
- Strong expertise in business requirements definition and documentation
- Advanced knowledge of API features and data modeling
- Proficient in backlog management and Agile/SAFe methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and development teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to ownership
- Experience coordinating onshore and offshore teams respecting time zone differences
- Skilled in facilitating meetings and managing client relationships
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to write clear technical stories and acceptance criteria
- Flexibility in adapting to changing client needs while meeting delivery objectives
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
