About the role


BIM Lead for MEP is to work on all phases of the project execution lifecycle, from project release through design and construction. As a BIM Lead for MEP you will also be involved in projects that span multiple disciplines - including Architecture, MEP, ICT, Project Management, Interior Design, Construction and Design Standards.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for working with the MEP team for BIM standards development, implementation and deployment with a focus on quality control and clash detection.
  • Responsible for validating Company, AOR, EOR, Consultant systems models according to the Building Execution Planning for the region.
  • Creation and maintenance of MEP and ICT Revit Templates.
  • Oversee the activities on the projects BIM MEP and ICT Models to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the creation of the Coordinated Revit Models.
  • Advise on company content files (Source Files, Detail Components, Annotation Components, and Model Components) with a focus on Quality Control, Quantity Takeoffs and Clash and Coordination.
  • Support project standards coordination with MEP team.
  • Assist MEP and ICT teams in BIM project setup, quality control and issue resolution.
  • Assist standards team in Creating Revit families in response to project needs.
  • Help resolve BIM project Issues.
  • Coordination, Clash detection & 4D Scheduling in Autodesk Navisworks.
  • Collaborate & coordinate with other disciplines and consultants.
  • Constantly train/up-skill the in-house MEP and ICT teams to use Revit and leverage Common Data Environment.


Experience and Desires Skill set:


  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in MEP & Fire Design using Coordinated Revit Model upto LOD 400 level.
  • Experience in large Commercial, Interior or Office projects with focus on BIM.
  • Proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit & Navisworks Manage.
  • Proficient in the use of ACC Environment.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems.
  • Good to have skillset:
  • Coding experience with C# or Python
  • Dynamo or Grasshopper scripting tools.
