We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in analytical tools and techniques, excel at breaking down complex problems, and have the ability to drive data-backed decisions. This role demands effective communication with stakeholders & strategic alignment of data initiatives with business goals
What you will do
- Technical Proficiency:
- Utilize SQL, Python/R, Excel for data analysis and insights extraction.
- Apply mathematical, statistical, or predictive modeling techniques to analyze data and support decision-making.
- Develop and implement relevant visualizations to drive insights based on the context.
- Problem-Solving:
- Break down complex problems, identify root causes, formulate hypotheses, and draw comprehensive conclusions.
- Approach problem-solving in a structured manner, evaluating second-order impacts and addressing challenges/risks.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Effectively communicate insights and drive data-backed decisions with stakeholders and leadership.
- Define and align key metric definitions with stakeholders.
- Manage multiple work streams and coordinate interdependencies.
Must have skills
- Total of 5 to 7 years of experience
- Proven experience in a lead business analyst role or similar capacity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Excel, and Metabase.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong alignment with business goals and strategic vision.
- Innovative mindset with a willingness to take calculated risks.
