Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to drive post-investment value creation and scalability across the fund's portfolio companies. The role acts as an external operating partner to founders, supporting strategic growth, operational readiness, talent building, and follow-on fundraising. The incumbent ensures portfolio companies progress from early traction to sustainable scale, thereby maximizing fund returns and improving exit outcomes.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Minimum Required Accountabilities for this Role
- Act as a strategic and operational partner to portfolio companies, supporting scale-up initiatives post-investment.
- Enable business development by connecting startups with enterprise customers, partners, and ecosystem players.
- Support founders in defining and executing growth strategies across sales, partnerships, and market expansion.
- Standardize and monitor portfolio reporting including monthly and quarterly performance metrics, burn rates, and runway analysis.
- Track overall portfolio health and provide regular insights and dashboards to fund leadership.
- Assist portfolio companies in preparing for follow-on fundraising rounds through pitch readiness and investor introductions.
B. Additional Accountabilities Pertaining To The Role
- Support talent acquisition for portfolio companies, including leadership and critical technical roles.
- Provide guidance on organizational structures, ESOP frameworks, culture building, and performance management.
- Offer hands-on operational support during critical phases such as pivots, geographic expansion, or crisis situations.
- Lead and support content creation, branding, and social media initiatives for the portfolio and investment unit.
- Act as a bridge between investment team expectations and on-ground execution realities of startups.
Key Decisions / Dimensions
Recommendations on growth priorities, operational interventions, and capability building for portfolio companies.
- Inputs on readiness for follow-on fundraising and scalability assessment.
- Escalation of portfolio risks and intervention strategies to fund leadership.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Qualifications
- Graduate / Post-graduate in Management, Engineering, or related disciplines
- Work Experience
- 710 years of experience in startups, scale-ups, venture ecosystems, or operating roles
- Prior experience as Founder, Chief of Staff, Strategy Lead, or Growth / Ops leader preferred
- Strong understanding of the startup lifecycle from product-market fit to scale and exit
- Exposure to sales funnels, unit economics, fundraising, and cap table mechanics
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- High empathy, ownership mindset, and execution orientation
