Lead Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to build and scale backend systems, drive architecture decisions, and deliver reliable, high-performance product experiences across the platform.

What You'll Do :

• Build and scale services using Python and Node.js
• Architect microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven workflows
• Design secure and scalable APIs and backend services
• Drive system design, performance optimization, and engineering best practices
• Work with AWS/GCP, CI/CD, and deployment automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable product experiences
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical roadmap initiatives

What We're Looking For :

• 4–8 years of backend engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Python with experience in Node.js
• Exposure to PHP-based systems/services is a plus
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Strong understanding of scalability, cloud infrastructure, and backend architecture
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, and backend optimization
• Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills
