About The Role
As a Lead Associate Mnow Merchandising with 25 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing merchandising strategies for Mnow, ensuring ease of discovery and a seamless journey for customers. This role offers the opportunity to shape customer experience through innovative merchandising practices in the fast-paced Quick Commerce space.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead Visual Merchandising Strategy: Drive the end-to-end planning and execution of Mnow's visual merchandising strategies, ensuring storefronts are engaging, intuitive, and optimized for ease of discovery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with stakeholders across Category, Revenue, Supply Chain, and Marketing to gather insights, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable merchandising initiatives that generate demand.
- Selection Maximization: Develop and implement strategies to expand and optimize product selection, ensuring customers have access to a wide and relevant assortment that meets evolving demand patterns.
- Demand & Supply Alignment: Actively participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to align demand forecasts with supply plans, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain seamless operations.
- Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Conduct regular reviews of merchandising performance metrics, identify gaps, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer journeys and business outcomes.
- Innovation & Industry Benchmarking: Stay updated on quick commerce and retail industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in storefront planning; recommend innovative solutions to keep Mnow ahead of the curve.
- Customer Experience Excellence: Design and drive initiatives that simplify and elevate customer journeys across channels, creating a wow experience that strengthens brand loyalty and engagement.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure merchandising processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals, leveraging automation and analytics to improve accuracy and speed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear updates, reports, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on merchandising priorities.
Skills And Background Required
- Experience: 25 years of relevant experience in merchandising, category management, or quick commerce operations, with a proven track record of driving customer-centric initiatives.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable merchandising strategies.
- Project Management: Demonstrated expertise in planning, executing, and monitoring projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams (Category, Revenue, Supply Chain, Marketing) and external partners
- Industry Knowledge: Awareness of quick commerce trends, customer behavior, and best practices in visual merchandising and storefront planning.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with analytics tools, dashboards, and merchandising platforms; ability to leverage automation and AI-driven solutions for operational efficiency.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for enhancing customer journeys, with a focus on ease of discovery, seamless navigation, and creating a wow experience across channels.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with openness to innovation and continuous improvement.
