Duties & Responsibilities
- Create Test scenarios and Test cases according to Technical and Functional Specifications
- Must have experience on Life Admin Systems, US Life Insurance / Annuity products
- Actively participate in analyzing requirements
- Experience in creating test plan matrix, test cases, traceability and similar documents
- Develop Test Data as applicable
- Execute tests, analyze results and report to Lead/Manager/SM
- Excellent knowledge of Agile QA/Dev processes and software development/test life cycle
- Ability to create SQL queries for test data extraction and manipulation
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.

- Good problem solving & interpersonal skills
Skills And Experience
- 6+ years of experience in Manual Testing
- Must have worked in US Life Insurance/Annuities domain
- Should have worked on Policy Administration System
- Must be proficient with SQL queries
- Should have good communication skills to interact with project stakeholders
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies
- Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking Tools (Jira, X-Ray, Quality Center)
- Experience in testing Web-based applications, Soap UI, etc.
- Experience of working in a team as well as a strong individual contributor
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Having Life insurance certifications such as LOMA will be added advantage
