Role Description

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team in Chennai as a full-time, on-site Lead Architect - Digital Platforms (MEP). The Lead Architect will oversee architectural designs, drive innovative solutions for multiple digital platforms, and manage the integration of software systems within the AEC industry. Additionally, responsibilities include leading projects from conception to implementation and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create cutting-edge solutions.

The role spans estimation, planning, engineering workflows, monitoring systems (including IoT), internal platforms, and AI/ML-driven solutions. This is a hands-on architecture and leadership role with ownership of the company's technology roadmap.

We are looking for

• 10+ years in software / platform architecture
• Strong experience designing multi-system enterprise platforms
• Hands-on experience with Graph Databases (Neo4j preferred)
• Strong backend experience (Java / Python / Node.js / .NET)
• Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and integrations
• Understanding of MEP / engineering / construction workflows (preferred)
• Experience working with data, analytics, and AI/ML integration
• Proven technical leadership and team mentoring experience
• Strong expertise in Architecture, Architectural Design, and related principles
• Proficiency in Software Development and System Integration
• Experience in Project Management and the ability to handle cross-functional teams and project timelines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven experience in the architecture and AEC sectors is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Experience with BIM, BMS, or construction tech
• Neo4j Graph Data Science (GDS)
• Digital twins or simulation platforms
• Startup or greenfield product experience
