Role Summary
Job Description
The Lead Analyst Pricing is responsible for driving pricing excellence, managing a team of analysts for O2C process, and delivering high-quality analytics that support pricing strategy, margin improvement, and commercial decision-making. This role leads pricing operations, ensures data accuracy, and collaborates closely with sales, finance, product management, and master data teams. The Lead Analyst acts as the primary point of contact for pricing insights and governance while mentoring and developing team members.
Main Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of pricing performance for internal processes
- Identify pricing improvement opportunities
- Detailed knowledge of O2C process.
- Build advanced pricing dashboards, forecasting models, and analytical tools.
- Interpret complex data and present actionable insights to leadership teams.
- Work with sales team to support them in managing databases for pricing agreements, price corrections, dispute managements.
- Participate in process transitions and adhere to project timelines and quality.
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of price updates in ERP systems.
- Standardize templates, processes, and documentation related to pricing activities.
- Collaborate with master data teams to ensure clean and consistent pricing data.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual work and enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with sales to improve end customer experience
- Serve as the primary pricing advisor for cross-functional projects (new product launches, portfolio changes, cost adjustments).
- Communicate pricing insights, risks, and recommendations to senior management with clarity and confidence.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and manage a team of pricing analysts, including workload allocation, guidance, and performance reviews.
- Set clear goals, deliverables, and development plans for team members.
- Mentor the team in analytical best practices, pricing concepts, and data management.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture focused on accuracy, analytical rigor, and business impact.
- Ensure quality control of all pricing deliverables and maintain high consistency across the team.
- Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines and objectives are achieved.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance pricing governance and transparency.
- Lead special projects such as ERP tool upgrades, system rollouts, and automation solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 610 years of pricing, master data and business analytics,
- Prior experience in managing or mentoring analysts.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Solid understanding of pricing methodologies (cost-plus, value-based, segmentation, elasticity).
- Experienced in ERP systems (SAP) and pricing modules.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and high-pressure pricing cycles.
- Experience working with master data teams and governance processes.
