Job Description Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design, build, and optimize data-driven solutions that empower business teams with actionable insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining BI reports, dashboards, and automation scripts primarily using Google App Script, Google BigQuery, and other Google Cloud tools to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and maintain a comprehensive set of business reporting requirements from stakeholders
• Design, develop, and implement BI reports and dashboards to address business needs
• Analyze and optimize existing reports for standardization and performance across teams and functions
• Set up, maintain, and optimize BI tools, infrastructure, and data integration pipelines with company data sources
• Create and maintain live, interactive dashboards for real-time and accurate reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into meaningful business recommendations
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and business requirement specifications

Requirements and Skills

• Strong proficiency in:

1. Programming/Scripting Languages: Google App Script, Python,JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Databases: MySQL, BigQuery

BI Tools: Tableau, Talend, Power BI, Google Data Studio.

• Hands-on experience with Google ecosystem tools:

1. Google PLX Script & Dashboards, Google Data Studio, Google BigQuery, Google Sheets, Google App Script Automations.

• Strong understanding of database operations, query optimization, and data performance tuning
• Experience with data visualization best practices and storytelling through dashboards.

• Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech / B.E / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in BI development, data analytics, or a similar role.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools
• Exposure to automation using Google App Script and reporting workflows in Google Workspace
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models and visualization solutions
