Lead Analyst - Accounting
Exp - 6 - 10 years
Shift Timings - 1.30 PM - 10.30 PM
- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to support forecasting, performance tracking, and management reporting for SCBUs.
- Design intuitive, leadershipfriendly visualizations that highlight KPIs, financial trends, and business drivers.
- Automate manual reports and recurring processes using Power BI, Power Query, and other analytical tools to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
- Collect, clean, aggregate, and validate data from multiple SCBUs and enterprise systems to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.
- Establish and maintain data links between different sources, building data models, and maintaining reporting datasets to support endtoend dashboard operations. (Power BI datasets, Oracle Essbase/ Peoplesoft, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to create a seamless reporting ecosystem.
- Support forecasting, actuals reporting, and value analysis by preparing data inputs and performing firstlevel variance reviews.
- Provide initial analytical support for performance metrics, and operational KPIs, highlighting anomalies and key insights.
- Assist in documenting processes, data flows, and dashboard refresh cycles.
- Highlight trends, outliers, and data inconsistencies.
- Support the SCBU FP&A team in process redesign, reporting improvements, and system enhancements to align with evolving business requirements.
- Work collaboratively with SCBU FP&A teams and crossBU finance partners to share best practices and ensure alignment of data and reporting standards.
- Gain a strong understanding of financial data structures, systems, and reporting tools used within the organization.
- Manage assigned deliverables independently, including prioritizing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining highquality outputs.
- Prepare clear, visually effective presentations and insights for leadership consumption.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Master's degree / Professional Degree / Relevant Industry Certification
- Preferably Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in handling complex datasets, analytics, reporting, automation & PowerBI skills. (preferably in BFSI Industry, either in GCC / service provider environment)
Technical Skills
- Strong handson experience with Power BIdata modeling, DAX, dashboards, and report publishing.
- Proficiency in Oracle Essbase/ Peoplesoft, Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query), PowerPoint.
- Comfort working with large datasets and connecting to varied data sources.
- Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet).
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, and transformation.
- Exposure to SQL or other database/querying tools

- Good communication skills with ability to translate data into insights.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
