Role Summary
Seeking a Credit Research Analyst to support Fixed Income Credit Research focused on the Financials sector. The role involves ongoing credit surveillance, new-issue support, and integrating company earnings updates into credit views, reports, and models, with close day-to-day interaction with a Senior Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide credit research coverage/support for Financial sector issuers across Investment Grade and High Yield; may also support coverage of a smaller book of equity names for the same issuers.
- Track and analyze daily primary market (new issuance) activity; support deal evaluation, pricing context, and issuer-level updates.
- Incorporate earnings results, guidance, and key disclosures into credit notes, surveillance reports, and financial/credit models.
- Maintain and update credit models, comparable analysis, and issuer dashboards; ensure timely and accurate research outputs.
- Work in deep engagement with the Senior Analyst through frequent calls and interactive collaboration on credit views, catalysts, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in Fixed Income Credit Research, preferably covering Financials (banks, insurers, brokers/asset managers, etc.).
- Understanding of IG/HY credit, capital structures, and key financial-sector credit metrics.
- Strong financial modeling, writing, and analytical skills; ability to deliver under tight timelines.
- Comfortable working in a highly collaborative setup with regular direct interaction with senior stakeholders.
