About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead AI Architect AI Engineering to lead the design, development, and scaling of advanced AI systems. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor a team while delivering end-to-end AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive AI system architecture and technical roadmap
- Lead and mentor a team of 37 AI/ML engineers
- Design and implement scalable ML infrastructure, from data pipelines to deployment
- Ensure high engineering standards including testing, CI/CD, and code quality
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and execution
- Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI/ML technologies
- Monitor system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript
- Expertise in Machine Learning & AI Systems
- Experience with MLOps and model deployment
- Knowledge of distributed systems and data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
Technical Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 4+ years in a leadership or architectural role
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML infrastructure and pipelines
- Strong experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance systems
- Expertise in cloud-based AI deployments
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI
- Exposure to AI observability, real-time systems, and MLOps
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments
- Contributions to open-source, research, or patents
