- This is a key role within the banks second line of defense, Operational Risk Management (ORM) team. This role will be responsible to provide an oversight on Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.
- The role is responsible to work with the First Line of Defense Business Risk & Controls team (BR&Cs) to maintain the quality and timeliness of the RCSAs in adherence with the applicable Standards.

About The Team
The Operational Risk Management function is a team of Risk Professionals who promote risk management excellence by fostering a culture that is proactive, transparent and accountable, ensuring that risk is managed effectively in alignment with FCB's risk appetite and strategic objectives. This is a second line of defense team acting as trusted advisors to the business in managing Operational Risk across multiple Operational Risk Categories (e.g. Technology, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Operations, etc.).
Impact
This is a key role within the Bank's Second Line of Defense. The role provides guidance to and oversight on the First Line of Defense and / or Second Line of Defense activities by evaluating its adherence to bank's policies and Standards.
Key Deliverables
- Collaborate with the First Line of Defense BR&Cs and Business Units to ensure that the RCSAs executed are documented in adherence to the RCSA and other applicable Standards
- Monitor timeliness of execution of RCSAs by the Business Units and timely escalate potential issues preventing timely execution of RCSAs
- Assist in preparation of effective training material and conduct training sessions for the stakeholders involved in execution of the RCSA
- Track and monitor recurring or thematic queries from stakeholders relating to RCSA and other Standards and assist in addressing the training needs of the stakeholders
- Prepare effective presentations and dashboards to support the Management in monitoring the progress and key issues in the RCSA Program
- Ad-Hoc Support - Assist in providing support to Ad-hoc requests from Management (as required)

Technical Skills

- Knowledge and experience of risk management in Operational Risk and / or compliance risk with a US Bank including but not limited to Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA), Controls Testing, Quality Assurance, etc.
