Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lathe Operator at SAAN Engineers Pvt. Ltd., based in Mumbai. The Lathe Operator will operate and maintain lathe machines to manufacture equipment components as per technical drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks will include reading and interpreting engineering drawings, setting up and calibrating machines, monitoring operations, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role requires proactive troubleshooting and routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and Milling techniques
- Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawings and Engineering Drawings accurately
- Experience in routine Maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience as a Lathe Operator or a similar role is desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team-driven workplace
