We are seeking a skilled LaTeX Paginator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for typesetting and formatting academic and scientific content using LaTeX, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client and publishing standards. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of LaTeX, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.
What You'll Do
- Format and paginate books, journals, and academic content using LaTeX.
- Apply publisher/client-specific style sheets and templates.
- Handle complex content, including mathematical equations, tables, figures, and references.
- Ensure consistency in fonts, layouts, and formatting.
- Validate outputs against client specifications and publishing standards.
- Collaborate with editors, quality controllers, and production teams.
- Troubleshoot typesetting issues and provide solutions.
- Deliver final files in required formats (PDF, XML, ePub, etc.) on time.
- Maintain project documentation and adhere to SLAs.
Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience with LaTeX typesetting.
- Expertise in handling complex mathematical equations (MathML/MathJax).
- Knowledge of pagination standards for books and journals.
- Familiarity with XML, ePub workflows, and digital publishing formats.
- Proficiency in using LaTeX editors (TeXstudio, Overleaf, WinEdt, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines.
