We are seeking an experienced Oracle Forms and Reports Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining Oracle-based applications, ensuring performance optimization and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle Forms and Reports applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Forms and Reports applications.
- Perform system testing and ensure quality assurance for applications.
- Optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in coding and design.
- Document technical specifications and user manuals for applications.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-12 years of experience in Oracle Forms and Reports development.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Database and its architecture.
- Familiarity with Oracle Forms Builder and Oracle Reports Builder.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
