Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Last Mile Delivery Executive to join our team in Delhi on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in managing delivery operations efficiently. The role involves planning and optimizing delivery routes, coordinating timely deliveries, and ensuring effective tracking of delivery processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in GPS navigation to ensure efficient route selection and timely deliveries.
- Excellent time management skills to schedule deliveries and maximize operational productivity.
- Ability to define Key Result Areas (KRA) ensuring alignment with business goals and performance metrics.
- Route Planning and Optimization (Mandatory skill) to devise efficient delivery strategies minimizing distance, time, and fuel consumption, potentially using automated routing and optimization tools.
- Delivery Coordination (Mandatory skill) to ensure timely and accurate flow of goods from the source to the destination.
- Strong issue resolution skills to address and mitigate any delivery challenges promptly.
- Cost management by monitoring and controlling last mile delivery costs, including fuel, labor, and other expenses. and enhance overall delivery efficiency.
- Delivery Tracking (Mandatory skill) to accurately monitor the status of packages and maintain records. Tracking the progress of deliveries using logistics software and GPS tracking, providing real-time updates to customers and management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive route plans to ensure efficient delivery processes.
- Coordinate with delivery personnel to guarantee on-time delivery to the respective destinations.
- Track all deliveries meticulously, maintaining accurate records of delivery statuses.
- Resolve any delivery-related issues efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the logistics team to ensure streamlined delivery operations.
- Monitor delivery costs and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all delivery activities.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on delivery performance and areas for improvement.
