Job Description Lead Landscape Architect( Hiring Behalf of Real Estate Company in Gurugram)
Experience: 1215 years
CTC: Up to 50 LPA (depending on experience & project exposure)

Role Overview
The Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for design leadership, coordination, and execution of landscape works across large-scale real estate developments. The role requires strong expertise in design development, site execution, cost control, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and buildable landscape outcomes aligned with project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities Design & Planning
- Lead conceptualization, master planning, and detailed landscape design for residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments.
- Develop hardscape, softscape, planting palettes, irrigation, and outdoor amenities designs.
- Ensure alignment of landscape design with architecture, urban design, sustainability goals, and brand guidelines.
- Review and approve landscape drawings, specifications, BOQs, and material selections.
Project Execution & Site Management
- Oversee end-to-end landscape execution from concept to final handover.
- Coordinate with project, civil, MEP, irrigation, and external consultants for seamless implementation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, timelines, safety, and workmanship.
- Manage snag closure and final handover processes.
Budgeting, Cost Control & Value Engineering
- Prepare and review landscape budgets, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Drive value engineering initiatives without compromising design intent or quality.
- Monitor CAPEX and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Vendor & Consultant Management
- Appoint, manage, and evaluate landscape consultants, contractors, nurseries, and vendors.
- Standardize landscape specifications, materials, and execution processes.
- Ensure vendor performance aligns with project quality and delivery expectations.
Sustainability & Compliance
- Implement sustainable landscape practices including native planting, water-sensitive design, rainwater harvesting, and low-maintenance solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local development norms, environmental guidelines, and green building certifications (IGBC/LEED where applicable).
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Act as the key point of contact for landscape-related matters with internal stakeholders, clients, and consultants.
- Lead, mentor, and guide junior landscape architects and site teams.
- Participate in design reviews and presentations with senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
- 1215 years of relevant experience in large-scale real estate / developer-side projects.
- Strong exposure to commercial, residential, retail, or mixed-use developments.
- Proven experience in design + execution, not only concept design.
