Job Description
As our new Landscape Architect Roads you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design centre owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated centre of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a centre for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Providing design solutions based on your Knowledge of landscape design parameters, technical drawings details and site planning principals.
- Create detailed maps and visualizations in ArcGIs pro/Qgis for project proposals and decision-making processes.
- Demonstrate good communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently and professionally with a diverse range of people.
- Willingness to learn new software, techniques.
- Focusing on Delivering quality submission on set timelines.
- Work collectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrate keen interest in exploring new commands and invest time in development of new tools.
- Demonstrate your skills as expert in analyzing and learning new techniques and implementing it in your projects.
- Should be able to perform quality check with sharp reviewing skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in architecture with a master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputed institute.
- Experience required 2 to 5 Years.
- Experience of applying current International design standards, guidance and good working practices to the design of external spaces;
- Experience in the production of landscape information for infrastructure and development projects, ranging from site audit/concept design and feasibility studies, production of detailed information for tender and construction including hard and soft landscape General Arrangement plans, construction detailing, planting schedules and specifications.
- Advanced skills in Google sketch up, Adobe software like Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator is a must. Knowledge of AutoCAD civil 3D, Revit and BIM is desirable
- Experienced in the use and application of BIM (Level 2 minimum), Good knowledge of ArcGIs pro/Qgis software, 3D modelling software such as Civil3D / Revit.
- Should have good AutoCAD knowledge and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formats.
- In addition to technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work.
- Should be a good team member and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project.
- Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
- Preferably have an exposure to the projects in Nordic region.
