Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Land Acquisition Manager at sambhajinagar location. The Land Acquisition Manager will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential land acquisition opportunities, conducting market research, negotiating acquisitions, and working closely with internal teams. The role involves analyzing land use opportunities, assisting with financial feasibility assessments, and ensuring all acquisitions are in line with company objectives and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and acquire suitable land parcels for solar power projects.
- Conduct land feasibility checks (land use, access, connectivity, restrictions).
- Manage land purchase/lease/allotment (private, government, gauchar, wasteland).
- Ensure clear land titles and handle legal documentation (7/12, 8A, sale/lease deeds, registration)
- Negotiate with landowners, brokers, farmers, and local stakeholders.
- Coordinate with EPC, Engineering, Legal, and Project teams for timely land handover.
- Ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and proper documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports and track acquisition progress.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Bachelors degree in Law, Civil /Electrical Engineering, Real Estate Management, or any relevant discipline.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in land acquisition, preferably for solar and renewable energy.
- Mandatory experience in Maharashtra-based land acquisition with strong understanding of state-specific land laws and procedures.
- Experience in dealing with government departments and local authorities in Maharashtra is essential
- Good Communication skills
