Lab Technician Mechanical

Education: BE or Diploma in Mechanical

Good understanding of Motion control techniques & interfaces with motors/actuators

Good understanding of EMI/EMC, create a test plan and test setup preparation

Disciplined team worker, with the ability to work independently.

Develop test plans and procedures for prototypes and production units, conduct functional, environmental, and compliance testing (EMI/EMC, safety).

Good hands-on experience in using Mechanical instruments like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers, Automate testing.

Fabrication & Assembly: Use of hand tools, power tools, and basic machining (drilling, cutting).

Measurement: Vernier calipers, micrometres, dial gauges, torque wrenches.

Material Handling: Knowledge of metals, plastics, and composites.

Maintenance of mechanical setups and fixtures.

Ability to read mechanical drawings; exposure to CAD software is a plus.

Integration of electro-mechanical systems (motors, actuators, sensors).

Understanding of control systems and automation basics.

Attention to detail and precision.

Maintain communication and reporting for work progress.

Team collaboration and time management.

Aware of lab automation tools (LabVIEW, MATLAB)
