Lab Engineer

What is this role about

1 To ensure right quality material is issued to production floor.

2 Analyzing test results to identify issues and validate performance.

3 Diagnosing and resolving technical problems that arise during testing.

4 Ensuring that all tests meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITY:

1 Perform various tests on compounds, including materials, adhesives and rubber, to evaluate their properties and performance.

2 Design and refine testing methodologies to meet industry standards.

3 Analyze test results, interpret data, and generate reports detailing findings and recommendations.

4 Ensure that testing equipment and instruments are properly calibrated, maintained, and functioning accurately.

5 Ensure all testing procedures comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

6 Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and any deviations from standard methods

7 Assess the suitability of materials for applications based on performance metrics such as durability, resistance, and safety.

8 Work with engineers, designers, and other teams to provide insights and recommendations based on test results.

9 Identify and address issues with testing processes or materials that could affect accuracy or reliability.

10 Stay updated with advancements in testing technologies and methodologies to enhance lab capabilities and efficiency.

9 Update and enhance testing techniques and technologies.
