Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced L2 Wireless / SD-WAN / LAN-WAN Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations and support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Wireless, SD-WAN, LAN, and WAN technologies, along with a genuine/original CCNA certification. The role involves providing Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting network issues, monitoring performance, and ensuring network availability across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support for Wireless, SD-WAN, LAN, and WAN infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot network incidents, outages, and performance issues within SLA timelines.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, and SD-WAN devices.
  • Handle incident management, problem management, and escalation support for complex network issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring network problems and suggest preventive measures.
  • Support network changes, upgrades, patching, and implementation activities.
  • Monitor network health, bandwidth utilization, and device availability using network monitoring tools.
  • Work closely with L1, L3, vendors, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and incident records.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking concepts
  • Hands-on experience in Wireless technologies and troubleshooting
  • Experience with SD-WAN solutions
  • Good understanding of:
  • Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
  • Switching technologies: VLAN, STP, EtherChannel
  • WAN technologies and circuit troubleshooting
  • Wireless controllers, access points, SSID, RF basics
  • VPN, ACL, NAT, DHCP, DNS
  • Experience working on Cisco routers, switches, and wireless devices
  • Good understanding of network monitoring and ticketing tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field
  • CCNA certification (Original/Valid certification is mandatory)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in network operations/support

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with enterprise-grade SD-WAN platforms
  • Exposure to ITIL-based support environment
  • Knowledge of firewall and network security concepts
  • Experience in handling major incident calls and change implementation
